Biography

Alexander is an American‑Venezuelan pianist born in Miami, Florida. He began his piano and musical training at an early age with Daniel Venegas at Doral Piano Studio, laying the foundation for a career that would soon take him to international stages.

As he developed, he participated in festivals across the United States, Latin America, and Europe, including the Miami International Piano Festival in the Italian and Austrian Alps. He also received masterclasses from renowned artists such as Francesco Libetta, Stephen Beus, Dmitry Ablogin, Kemal Gekić, Josu de Solaun, Misha Dacić, Florian Noack, and Steven Osborne, among many others.

In 2022, his talent reached a broader audience when he collaborated with pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba and composer‑singer Aymée Nuviola for the Latin Grammy Awards, where he was recognized as a Young Upcoming Artist.

He later performed Prokofiev’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1, Op. 10 live with L’Orchestra Camerata del Titano of the Republic of San Marino at Teatro Concordia in Borgo Maggiore, marking a significant orchestral debut in Europe.

In 2024, Alexander won first prize at the International Piano House competition, which led to his selection to perform works by Sergei Rachmaninoff at Carnegie Hall.

In November 2025, he was invited to perform in Antigua, Guatemala, for the Doral Piano Festival, where he was featured as one of the festival’s Emerging Stars. That same year, he also earned first prize at the Siman Orchestral Foundation music competition in New York City.

In 2026, as part of the Siman Orchestral Foundation’s international artist program, he will perform in Tokyo, Japan — a direct result of winning first prize in their competition.

Alexander currently resides in New York, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music at the Manhattan School of Music, specializing in Piano Performance. He has received multiple scholarship offers, including the prestigious Presidential Scholarship, awarded after his audition.
